It started as a vision by a group of men thinking of others, and 53 years later the Ogdensburg Boys and Girls Club remains a consistent part of the development of youth from Ogdensburg and the surrounding communities.
Opening the clubhouse on State St. in 1964 and in our present location on Patterson St. since 1975 generations of lives have been changed or influenced because of their time spent at the club.  The vision of those early leaders was to have a place where kids could go to keep them safe and out of trouble.  That vision remains and while they are here we can help them with their schoolwork, make sure they are being active, feed them a healthy snack, let them explore their creative and artistic side, and most importantly help them grow into responsible adults.
We don't know what the future holds for the youth we serve, we do know that we will continue to strive to have a positive impact on their lives.  As staff we are fortunate to have continued support of many who give their time, talents or treasures so we have that opportunity.  Thanks to all who help us build "Great Futures."
