“The Positive Place for Kids”

                 The Ogdensburg Boys & Girls Club recently recognized members of their volunteer board for their dedication and devotion to the OBGC.  The members were recognized for every five years they have served with a certificate signed by Roxanne Spillett President of Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the Honorary Co-Chairman George and Laura Bush.

                 The certificates were presented at a recent board meeting and reads: For providing stewardship, vision, dedication and commitment to position the club as the Positive Place for Kids, ensuring that the youth of our community receive opportunities to develop their full potential.  The following awards were presented for at least Five Years of Service to Bill Flynn, Mike Martin, Greg Sholette and Andy Wells; Ten Years of Service Awards went to Jim Fournier, Jim Kelly, John Reed, Bill Seymour, Bill Payne, John Pinkerton, Warren Putman, and Jerry Richards; Twenty Year Service Awards went to John O’Keefe and Sal Pisani; Twenty Five Years Service Award went to Peg LaVigne; Thirty Years Service Award to Anna Marie Girard; & Thirty Five Years Service Award to Thomas E. Hannan.
